Insurance Claim Next Steps
Thanks for allowing us to inspect your roof. You currently have reputable damage to your roof. Here’s the next steps needed in order to move forward with your claim:
- Please call your insurance company to file the claim. You will need your “Date of Loss”, which is the date the storm occurred.
- Let your insurance company know that your contractor inspected the roof and the damage exceeds your deductible, so we need an adjuster to come take a look at the damages.
- Let us know the date and time that the adjuster will be out to your home so we can be there to walk your property with them and make sure no damage gets missed.
- Once you get your paperwork / estimate back from the insurance company, with the first check, please let us know and we will set up a time to come review your paperwork with you to make sure there was nothing missed.
- Schedule a date for work to be completed
- ACV Payment / First Check will be collected upon the start of your project.
- We will send supplements and invoices to your insurance company upon completion for the release of your depreciation funds.
- We will collect final payment once supplement and depreciation funds have been delivered.
